Working principle:
The molding material is fed into the granulator composed of the
ring die and the pressure roller through the feeder. The motor
drives the ring die to rotate clockwise at a certain speed. Under
the action of centrifugal force and friction, the material is close
to the inner wall of the ring die. The friction between the rollers
varies with the ring die and the material rotates together. The
material is sucked in and continuously pressed and squeezed. When
the extrusion force increases enough to overcome the friction
between the material and the inner wall of the die hole, the
material is pressed into the die hole with a certain density. With
the continuous rotation of the die roll, the material is extruded
from the die hole and cut by the cutter to form the desired
granular material. The main factors that affect the process include
the material's I, the rotational speed of the ring die and the die
structure (including the ratio of length to diameter of the ring
die, the width of the ring die, and the ratio of the diameter of
the ring die pressing roller).
